She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on the 26th of November on the 26th of October, 1986. She is the daughter of father Vincenzo Barba and her mother Valerie Barba. They moved with their family from Point Pleasant, New Jersey in the year 6. Her education was completed at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. After graduating at Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture and a Master's in Architecture, she continued to study at the school. The violin was first played when she was four years old, and was referred to as the Violin Girl. They referred to her by her nickname due to her appearances. She also taught the violin to neighborhood kids. She also sang Free throughout 1976 when she made her audition to American Idol's sixth season, aged 19. However she was eliminated after being ranked 16th on the show. She's sung a number of songs such as 2009's "The Christmas song" and the 2010's Out for Blood. She has also appeared on various TV shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba is an American musician who made her name in the sixth season of American Idol. The actress also started acting on TV after being removed from the competition after she was in the top 16. The actress has appeared in minor roles in films and a cameo appearance on Fear Factor during the 2012 season. Daily Mail reported that on the 21st of November, 2019, she was given the equivalent of four years for conspiring to distribute the drug fentanyl. In July the singer was sentenced to prison for possessing more than 400 grams Fentanyl with the intent of distribution.
